UPDATE: Shameless Plug for A Young Artist

Today’s post is going to be a shameless plug for a young artist I know who has amazing talent.

I first saw her art when she was quite young, maybe six years old, and even then she amazed me, but since that time she has just continued to get better and better.

Her name is Isabelle, and she recently drew some Seahawks fan art.  She drew it for fun, she had no intention of selling it, but her parents shared it on Facebook, and their friends shared it, and their friends shared it.  Soon demand for prints of it were exploding.  At first they were handling orders for prints privately through Facebook, or over the phone, but it soon became clear that a more efficient method was needed.  So they started up a website to sell prints from.

The young artist doesn’t really want to make money from this picture, so she has decided to donate 80% of the proceeds to charity.  More information about that can be seen on her website.

Well, I still haven’t heard back from the Dorr family to find out if its okay to post a picture here.  But I think its because they were a little busy.  They were entertaining a News Crew at their house today!
